Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker (Journeyman A Level) to build, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, and production tooling. This role supports manufacturing operations by improving tooling performance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring high-quality output.
The ideal candidate has strong CNC and manual machining experience, excellent blueprint reading skills, and a passion for precision craftsmanship.

We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker (Journeyman A Level) to build, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, and production tooling. This role supports manufacturing operations by improving tooling performance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring high-quality output.
The ideal candidate has strong CNC and manual machining experience, excellent blueprint reading skills, and a passion for precision craftsmanship.
- Build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications
- Set up and operate CNC and manual machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders)
- Program CNC machines as required
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime
- Perform preventive maintenance on tooling and machines
- Work closely with production and engineering teams
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completed apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred
- 5+ years of journeyman-level tool & die experience
- Strong CNC machining and setup experience
- Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings
- Experience with precision measurement tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 50–60 lbs as needed
