Tool & Die Maker – Journeyman Level (Full-Time)
Pay: $35.03 – $44.79 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Day Shift (flexibility as needed)
Location: On-site manufacturing facility

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker (Journeyman A Level) to build, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, and production tooling. This role supports manufacturing operations by improving tooling performance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring high-quality output.
The ideal candidate has strong CNC and manual machining experience, excellent blueprint reading skills, and a passion for precision craftsmanship.

Responsibilities
  • Build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications
  • Set up and operate CNC and manual machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders)
  • Program CNC machines as required
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges
  • Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tooling and machines
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Completed apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of journeyman-level tool & die experience
  • Strong CNC machining and setup experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings
  • Experience with precision measurement tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Lift up to 50–60 lbs as needed
