Overview

We are hiring an Industrial Engineer – Operational Excellence to drive Lean transformation, process improvement, and safety performance across a multi-site operation.

This is a hands-on role focused on:

  • Continuous Improvement
  • Lean Manufacturing / Lean Logistics
  • Operational Efficiency
  • Safety & Risk Reduction

Compensation

$85,000 – $95,000 + performance incentives

Responsibilities

Process Improvement

  • Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning
  • Develop labor standards, layouts, and process documentation
  • Identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities

Lean & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead Kaizen events, 5S, and waste reduction initiatives
  • Drive standardization and process optimization
  • Train teams on Lean tools and best practices

Safety

  • Perform hazard assessments and ergonomic evaluations
  • Support job safety analyses (JSA) and root cause investigations
  • Improve safety systems, layouts, and visual controls

Collaboration

  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams
  • Support performance improvement across multiple sites

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in:
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Lean / Continuous Improvement
    • Manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environments

Preferred Skills

  • Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred)
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving ability
  • Time studies and workflow optimization experience
  • Advanced Excel and process mapping tools
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing and warehouse environments
  • Exposure to production floors, forklifts, and outdoor conditions
  • Travel required (50–75%)
