Deputy Program Manager - Aerostats

JOB DESCRIPTION:
DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER – AEROSTATS  (Direct Hire)
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager for an exciting Aerostat program with one of our premier clients in Jacksonville, Florida. Our client is set to be the market leader in their industry! The Deputy Program Manager will:
  • Manage, operate and support the day-to-day activities of tethered Aerostat system facilities, employees, finances, and equipment to achieve successful production operations and meet all contract specifications.
  • Identify, document, and recommend process improvements and/or potential cost savings through implementation of lean manufacturing or other techniques.
  • Be responsible for direct contact and maintains responsiveness to Contracting Officer (CO) or government Program Management Office requests. Monitors and accurately documents cost reimbursable, site and project management office expenditures and cost projections.
  • Ensure technical reports are provided as required by the CO.
  • Evaluate project performance and reviews performance of subordinate managers and subcontractors, as appropriate, to ensure achievement of project objectives in a cost-effective manner.
  • Provide guidance, monitoring, and direction to subcontractors and evaluates subcontractor performance.
Qualifications:
  • BS Degree
  • 3+ years experience managing Aerostat projects
  • PMP preferred, but not required
Pay Rate: Up to $90k Based on Experience
