Credit Representative
Work Location: Buford, GA
Work Schedule: M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime when required)
Pay Rate: $14.00 - $16:00 per hour
The Credit Representative in is a position requiring a high degree of trust. You are responsible for handling sensitive information that requires confidentiality and a high degree of integrity. If you are professional, accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent judgment and organizational skills, this could be an ideal position for you.
Essential Job Duties Include:
  • Utilizing existing company policies, practices and worksheets to establish customer credit limits.
  • Investigating customer credit information.
  • Maintaining and reviewing records on past due accounts, credit holds, credit risks, incomplete files and fraud reports.
  • Performing credit checks prior to releasing orders.
  • Reviewing credit limits and when necessary, placing accounts on credit hold if the customer is past due on existing payments and referring these accounts to the Collections Department.
  • Utilizing manual credit applications to obtain credit reference from banks.
  • Working closely with Sales associates and keeping them informed on the progress of credit investigations.
  • Obtaining advance deposits from customers when required.
  • Performing other duties when needed or required.
Qualifications Include:
  • Military Veteran or family member preferred but not required.
  • At least 1year of Credit experience.
  • High School Graduate and some college or degree preferred.
  • Excellent data entry skills (alpha and numeric)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent at organizing and prioritizing tasks.
  • Proven record of good attendance at previous jobs.
  • Accounts Receivable experience is a plus.
  • High School graduate or equivalent. College degree is a plus.
  • Detail Oriented
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills.
