Aircraft Structural Sheet Metal Mechanic

Location: Tampa, FL
We are seeking experienced Aircraft Structural Sheet Metal Mechanics to support MRO operations in Tampa, FL. You will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, replacing, or rebuilding aircraft structures, repair parts, and special tools, in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 2 to 5+ years’ experience in heavy aircraft maintenance, preferably with an airline and/or MRO aircraft company.
  • Must have thorough working knowledge of all forms and documents required to support heavy maintenance service, including, but not limited to Company policy and procedure manuals, FAR’s, AD’s, Service Bulletins, and Maintenance Manuals.
  • Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
  • Must be efficient in the use and application of tools, gauges, instruments, etc. necessary for the accomplishment of duties assigned.
  • Must have an understanding and working knowledge of hazardous material handling and disposal as related to the job assignment.
  • Valid and current Airframe and Powerplant license is a plus.
  • Must have minimum required tools.
  • Must meet the qualifications to obtain a SIDA badge.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
 
Acceptable Experience:
Prefer: 2-5+ years commercial heavy jet experience B727, B737, B747, B757, B767, B777, A319, A320, A321, A330, A340
 
Will accept:
  • 2-5+ years military experience on acceptable aircraft MD80,90,11/DC10/C130/ KC141-135/C5/P3'sEqual mix of commercial heavy jet and helos
  • Equal mix of commercial heavy jet and regional jets
  • Equal mix of military acceptable jet and regional jets
  • Equal mix of military acceptable jet and helos
 
Compensation Structure: Rate+Per Diem (Split) - Very competitive!!!!
