Pay Rate: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience.
Position Type: Direct Hire Full Time.
 
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties that include installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintain production and facility equipment. Safety is of paramount importance and well-maintained equipment and systems are key in supporting the achievement of the facilities’ business goals and ultimately customer satisfaction.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Performing all work in accordance with OSHA regulations, safety standards, rules, regulations and practices of the facility.
  • Maintaining and repairing machines, and equipment throughout the facility.
  • Performing regular PM’s on equipment to ensure good working order.
  • Troubleshooting and making repairs to electrical systems and components.
  • Using various types of testing equipment, hand tools and computerized equipment to diagnose problems and affect repairs.
  • Assisting outside equipment repair personnel in repairing and rebuilding equipment.
  • Adhering to all policies and procedures, and operating practices.
  • Assisting other technicians when performing heavy jobs.
  • Welding and fabricating equipment and parts when required.
  • Assisting in the cleaning, disassembling and assembling equipment.
  • Staying current on all areas of knowledge required to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Documenting all completed work as required by the manager, supervisor or team lead.
  • Performing other duties as needed or required.
 
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
  • U.S. Military Veteran or family member preferred.
  • At least 3 years experience with mechanical, electrical, welding and fabrication tasks.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Good reading and comprehension skills.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, bend, lift and pull throughout your shift as necessary.
