Electrician / Wiring Technician

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 P/H Based on Experience      
This position is responsible for performing all wiring and related functions to manufacture and ship quality products.

  • Complete wiring of electrical back panels per drawings.
  • Wire complete panels per drawings including back panels and wiring between product components.
  • Follow Company established practices for termination wire runs, wire harnesses and wire numbers.
  • Provides Engineering Department with all as built wiring drawings and sketches.
  • Perform changes or corrections to product to meet quality requirements, as requested by Production Supervisor, Field Services and Test Department and/or Engineering Department.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Keep supervisor regularly informed of job status and job problems as they arise.
  • Adhere to established safety guidelines.
  • Perform other duties which may be required by supervisor.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 years of experience with electrical wiring.
  • Activities: Sitting – 5% Walking/Standing – 95%
  • Lifting: Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Bending: Must be able to bend, squat, crawl and climb.
  • Vision: Long periods of close work on small fonts and fine print on drawings and ability to see small or detailed items.
  • Mental Demands: Interpret, analyze, research and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Environment: Shop/warehouse.  Not climate controlled. Exposure to excessive heat and cold, wet/humid conditions, noise/vibration, hazards, dust and fumes.
