NHH is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Lead Supervisor for a global Consumer Packaging company at one of their mills in Stevenson, Alabama (which is about 45 minutes -1 hour from Chattanooga, TN and Huntsville, AL). This is an onsite position, supervising 3-4 supervisors and an assistant superintendent and is a ‘player/coach’, hands-on, engineering role with ‘office and on-the-floor’ responsibilities.

Job Functions
- Manage 4-6 direct reports in the Electrical and Instrumentation department.
- Manage mill electrical and instrumentation equipment through maintenance, enhancement and replacement.
- Manage contracts/vendors.
- Maintain capital and operations budgets.
- Ensure availability and reliability of machinery and equipment in an OSHA compliant environment.
- Effectively lead and mange team performance and manage overall budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or High School Diploma, GED and/or Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering AND 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering
- 3-5+ years of supervisory experience required.
- Experience in PLC programming, Distribution Control and AC/DC
- Labor Union experience a big plus
- Experience with and ability to work in a 24/7 operation.
- Ability to multi-task and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Consumer packaging, paper, chemical or manufacturing industry experience a PLUS
