Electrical and Instrumentation Lead Supervisor - $140k - $150k plus bonus - Full relocation package

Compensation: $140,000 - $150,000 (and 20%) Total possible with bonus and salary $168k - $180K


NHH is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Lead Supervisor for a global Consumer Packaging company at one of their mills in Stevenson, Alabama (which is about 45 minutes -1 hour from Chattanooga, TN and Huntsville, AL).  This is an onsite position, supervising 3-4 supervisors and an assistant superintendent and is a ‘player/coach’, hands-on, engineering role with ‘office and on-the-floor’ responsibilities.

Job Functions
  • Manage 4-6 direct reports in the Electrical and Instrumentation department.
  • Manage mill electrical and instrumentation equipment through maintenance, enhancement and replacement.
  • Manage contracts/vendors.
  • Maintain capital and operations budgets.
  • Ensure availability and reliability of machinery and equipment in an OSHA compliant environment. 
  • Effectively lead and mange team performance and manage overall budget.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or High School Diploma, GED and/or Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering AND 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering
  • 3-5+ years of supervisory experience required.
  • Experience in PLC programming, Distribution Control and AC/DC
  • Labor Union experience a big plus
  • Experience with and ability to work in a 24/7 operation.
  • Ability to multi-task and proficient in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Consumer packaging, paper, chemical or manufacturing industry experience a PLUS
